Dubai needed a logo and identity that resonated with both Arabic and Western cultures.
Our idea was a bold brand mark that reads ‘Dubai’ in both Arabic and English – a vision of two worlds in unison. The design also took its influence from arabesque art central to the region.
In Dubai you’ll find the brand mark adorning license plates, buildings and busses to name a few… and even forming the shape of an inflatable waterpark.
The logo has been used for over ten years and become a symbol of the city’s duality.
